For the aviation industry, the aim is to reduce weight to a minimum while offering maximum resilience from the textiles. In addition to fabrics for the civil segment, Acker also supplies seat textiles for the A400M military transport aircraft: real proof of the robustness of our materials. Another key focus of the aviation industry is fire safety and Acker manufactures ABD0031-compliant products.
We work mostly with polyester, polyamide and synthetic yarn. Based on the customer's requirements, we choose the right materials and processes for the job. In this way, we can guarantee that we will supply the optimum solution for each application. We can supply our technical textiles either on the roll or as made-up articles, in line with customer wishes.

The textiles, quality and environmental management system must all comply with international standards and the aviation industry standards laid down for the fire behaviour of materials and components. It goes without saying that we are certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. In addition, we are currently optimising our processes in accordance with ISO/TS 16949.
